VISION – INSIGHT – CONNECTIONS – PERSPECTIVE
For over two decades, I have worked with a wide variety of organizations, institutions, businesses, and individuals as a consultant and team member, offering unique perspectives, innovative approaches, and valuable connections across a variety of organizational contexts.
In 2016, I founded Wavelets Creative, a community arts org dedicated to developing new models for engagement, discovery, and transformation in our communities.
Besides being trained in the “Art-Train” artist consulting program at Springboard for the Arts, I have worked with a variety of organizations and institutions, including the University Of Minnesota, Walker Art Center (Making Music Series), Corcoran Neighborhood Organization (CNO), (Midtown Farmers Market) Minneapolis Parks and Rec Board (MPRB) (Monarch Magic! / Monarch Festival) Groove Garden Records, (Groove Garden Sundays) The Dinkytowner Cafe, Emily Johnson / Catalyst Dance, The Electric Fetus, Sound Unseen Film Festival, MSP Film Society, First Avenue, Oyate Hotanin (Voice of the People), The Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater, Rhymesayers Entertainment, The Square Lake Film & Music Festival, Land O’ Lakes Arts (LOLA), and Nokomis East Neighborhood Association (NENA).
I have assisted and directed arts and community organizations and individual artists alike in:
- strategic vision & planning
- programming
- engagement strategies
- grant writing and funding
I have successfully secured grants from the MN State Arts Board’s Arts Touring, Artist Initiative, and Flexible Support programs; Lakes Regional Arts Countil (LRAC), Metropolitan Regional Arts Council’s (MRAC) Next Step, Arts Learning, Community Arts, and Organizational Development grants; as well as individual artist grants from the JEROME, McKnight, and BUSH foundations, and Forecast Public Art grants, among others.
